Shaping the children of today into stalwart achievers of tomorrow to help build a Nation for the future

Gurukshetra is a new age school that believes not just in academic excellence, but in the overall development of a child. As the father of our nation said, a child is a product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes. At Gurukshetra, we strive to mould that thought, to shape the child of today into a stalwart leader of tomorrow.

Our vision is to nurture future thought leaders in business, politics, philanthropy and society, helping build the Nation of tomorrow. Through a careful selection of academic elements, communication skills, sports, and other extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, using our three decade experience, we aim to provide holistic learning.

We believe that education should be interactive and learning by rote will not prepare the children for a future tomorrow. We prefer the active involvement of the students in the learning process through group workshops, industry interactions and project works. Where appropriate, we use interactive, smart classrooms to teach the children. We provide individual attention to encourage self-learning and discourage private tuitions.

We also believe in the societal responsibility of an academic institution in shaping young minds to prevent social problems and building empathy and respect for human rights.

We recognize that teachers play a crucial role in shaping a student’s personality. We believe that a teacher should play the role of a guide and mentor and act as an inspiration to the students. To further that goal, we provide regular workshops and training for our faculty to help upgrade their skills and keep up with the latest trends in education.

All of this requires your active participation and encouragement as a parent! The parent is the child’s idol and takes the role of a teacher outside the school. A sustained interaction between the parent and the academic institution is, therefore, crucial to the development of a child. We actively encourage parent’s involvement in the school through various voluntary programs and constantly seek feedback through frequent parent-teacher meetings.
